Over 25 years of Geoff’s Window Cleaning Service
Jobmatch Employment are helping to celebrate over 25 years of work with Geoffrey Coulson and his Window Cleaning Service.
For a number of years, a local window cleaning business was operated in Kingaroy and due to ill health, the owner approached Jobmatch in about 2019, with an offer to continue the operation.
Management agreed to take on the business with a view that it may serve to provide a training base and assessment tool for clients of the agency. This allowed for people, some of whom had not previously worked in open employment to access work where stamina, work ethics and coordination skills were acquired.
Geoff was one of the first people who chose to learn the tasks and hasn’t looked back.
Geoff works independently at his job and now also lives independently. Many of you will know or have seen Geoff who has worked each week through Winter and Summer cleaning windows over all these years!
