Jobmatch Celebrates 30 Years in the Community

The team at Jobmatch Employment are thrilled to be celebrating 30 years of servicing the South Burnett, Gympie and Cooloola regions.

 

They are the South Burnett’s only locally owned, not for profit employment service, with offices in Nanango, Murgon, Kingaroy, Gympie and Tin Can Bay. They are also the region’s only 5-star provider, performing this consistent result over recent years.

Program Coordinator Vikki O’Brien explained,

“the team are real leaders in our community. They know their stuff and advocate strongly for inclusivity in the workplace and continue to go out of their way to support clients when needed and have the best interests of employers at heart.”

“It’s through long term relationships in the community that Jobmatch are able to continue to provide such a great service.”

 

Jobmatch continues to take an active part in the South Burnett contributing to local organisations such as the Suncoast Spinners and Wonder Wolves. They also provide bursaries to local schools, and sponsorship to local events.

It is also recognised that the incidence of disability increases with age and as a result the proportion of unemployed people with a disability is expected to continue to increase.
