Celebrating Max Gilmore's Retirement

Celebrating Max Gilmore's Remarkable 14-Year Journey at Jobmatch Employment Agency.

This month Jobmatch Employment bid farewell to Max Gilmore, who is retiring after an outstanding 14-year tenure at our Jobmatch. Reflecting on his immense contributions and the indelible mark he has left on our organisation, clients, and employers he will be most definitely missed. Max’s dedication, empathy, and professional excellence have been integral to our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment.

Max joined the team 14 years ago with a passion for advocating for individuals with disabilities and a vision to bridge the gap between these individuals and potential employers.

From his first day, it was evident that Max was not just an employee but a vital asset whose efforts would help to shape the success and reputation of Jobmatch being the number one performing agency in the region.

Throughout his career, Max fostered strong relationships with both clients and employers, ensuring that the needs and aspirations of our clients were matched with the opportunities and resources provided by employers. His approach was always personal and compassionate, taking the time to understand each client's unique skills, challenges, and goals. This individualised attention helped numerous clients find rewarding employment, often transforming their lives and enhancing their independence and self-esteem.

Max’s rapport with employers was equally impressive. He tirelessly advocated for inclusive hiring practices, educating employers about the benefits of a diverse workforce and the value that employees with disabilities bring to their organizations. His ability to build trust and communicate effectively resulted in many long-standing partnerships with local businesses, opening doors for countless clients and setting a standard for future employer relationships.

Beyond his professional achievements, Max is mentor and a friend to many in our community. His willingness to share his knowledge and experience helped shape the careers of his colleagues, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

As Max embarks on his well-deserved retirement, we will continue on with his benchmark for excellence and compassion, and the staff at Jobmatch will also provide the same service and achievements that Jobmatch is known for in the community.

CEO Lesa Bell commented

“We extend much gratitude to Max Gilmore for his 14 years of exceptional service, as his retirement marks the end of a remarkable chapter, but his influence will undoubtedly endure within the organisation. We wish Max all the best in his retirement, confident that he will continue to inspire and uplift those around him, just as he has done throughout his career with us.”
